This beetle of increadible beauty is Goliathus regius, commonly known as the Royal Goliath. Native to Africa, it can display a variety of patterns, though its primary coloration is black and white. I simply couldn't deny myself the absolute pleasure of painting this magnificent creature. It gave me the fascinating challenge of capturing the nuanced shades of white on its elytra.
